1. Mind maps: the USA and the UK

General Cultural Facts

Now that we know each other a little bit more, let's discover some general cultural facts about Spain, the USA and the British Isles.

Steps:

1. Work in groups (three groups). Each group must choose one of the already mentioned countries.
2. Look for the information that appears in the following mindmap.

     

         * You can use these links in order to look for the information about General Cultural Facts:

             - The British Isles: Site 1, Site 2, Site 3

             - The USA: Site 1, Site 2, Site 3, Site 4,
                               Site 5 (game about States & geography) 

             - Spain: Site 1, Site 2, Site 3, Site 4

     3. Have a look to all the information and verify it (use different sources, ask your teacher, etc.). Then, create a document in Word and summarize all the information (try to use your own words, do not use complex sentences, remember you must understand what you write)

         

     4. Once you have all the information, create both a mind map (key concepts/ieas) and an infographic
         (with more detailed information).

      5. Upload your mind maps and infographics and explain to the other classmates what you have learnt.
